The Ottawa Police Department has received information from Ottawa Fire Chief Dan Rieman that residents are currently receiving fund raising phone calls for the fire department. Chief Rieman said that the Ottawa Fire Department is not raising funds at this time. It is a scam and residence that do recieve such phone calls are encouraged to contact the police department, 419-523-3449.
