The Ottawa Police Department is advising the public about training that will be conducted today in the area of W. Main St and Sugar St on the West side of Ottawa by the Putnam County Special Response Team (SRT).
Use of tactical gear and weapons such as flash bangs may be used in today’s training. They are asking the public be to aware of this, as to not be alarmed if they see or hear the SRT units using these items in their course of operations today.
